that time since it was in its infancy stages. I
was actually looking for a job which would challenge
my skills / expertise. I also was wanting to work
with a TATA company.

Umm.. need to think..
what motivates me.. freedom to take my own decisions,
define my own rules, manage my region as my own
company.basically, flexibility, freedom and
respect of others.

work you do here?
Education .. not much
help..but training ..structured product trainings
..yes to some extent but largely learning on the
job has contributed maximum.

describe.
Yes, few of them.. in 1999 ,
got the best branch award for pune branch / in
2003 , got the company's largest ever single order
worth 900 Lacs /managing company's largest
corporate account tata motors for almost last 7
years single handedly..

Getting to work with
good team / exposure to world class technology products
and knowledge / can be a potential fitment for any
market specific segment due to a diverse experience

Did you envision
yourself exactly what you are doing when you first
started at Tata Elxsi?
Never.
I joined as a customer support manager and had dreams
of becoming a leader for leading the customer support
team. And here , I am today, not only leading the
CS team, but , leading a entire region which is
very crucial to company's business plan.

Have there been
sufficient opportunities to shape / meet your career
goal at Tata Elxsi?
As I said earlier, career
goal at joining was different and is different today.
I guess, one needs a correction factor every few
years wrt his career objective and the environment
in which he is trying to achieve the same. For the
time being, I feel I am on plan. But, can't say
the same for future.

describe Tata Elxsi's commitment towards the business
/ functional area you are in?
I do understand that
our division is a matter of important area for Tata
Elxsi's future. For the time being, I feel Tata
Elxsi is strongly committed to our business group.

hobbies or interests that you enjoy most outside
of work?
I read a lot, fiction,
spiritual and management. I go for swimming and
play squash regularly. I make it a point to spend
quality time with my family, especially my daughters.
