April 25th 2002 - Hardware, multimedia and animation software company Tata Elxsi has posted a 31 per cent rise in net profit of Rs 7.35 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2002, as compared Rs 5.61 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.
Net profit for the financial year ended March 31, 2002, grew by 20.7 per cent to Rs 16.74 crore as compared to Rs 13.86 crore for the corresponding period last fiscal.
The companys total income was up 12 per cent from Rs 41.15 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2001, to Rs 46.05 crore during the quarter ended March 31, 2002.
For the financial year ended March 31, 2002, total income dropped to Rs 131.96 crore compared to Rs 137.90 crore during the financial year ended March 31, 2001.
The company board declared a dividend of 35 per cent at Rs 3.50 per equity share of Rs 10 each on the paid-up capital of the company. |
