Board of Directors appoint S Ramadorai as Chairman of Tata Elxsi Ltd.
Takes over from Syamal Gupta who retired on 7 September 2009
Bangalore, September 8, 2009 – Tata Elxsi Ltd today announced that the Board of Directors has appointed S Ramadorai as the Chairman of the company in a non-executive capacity with effect from 7 September 2009. Ramadorai has been on the Board of Directors of Tata Elxsi since its inception. He succeeds Syamal Gupta who retires after being at the helm of the company for ten years.
Syamal Gupta has been instrumental in the growth of the company from a Systems Integration services provider to a leading company in Embedded Product Design, Industrial Engineering and Visual Effects.
