March 31, 2005 - Tata Elxsi announced a 32.4% increase in profit after tax at Rs. 8.17 crore for the fourth quarter ended march 31, 2005 as compared with Rs. 6.17 crore of the corresponding period of the previous year. Total income increased to 52.80 crore for the quarter ended March 2005, that was 45. 43 in fourth quarter of 2004. The profit after tax is Rs. 26.29 crore for the year ended march 31, 2005, up to 50 per cent from Rs. 17. 54 crore for the previous year.
