Tata Elxsi Solution Features We developed image pre-processing libraries and camera control drivers for real time barcode decoding on a DSP based target. Tata Elxsi solution included:

	Development of CCD controller driver
	Boot up code and memory management utilities for the DSP based target
	Development of Image Enhancement utilities
	1-D barcode orientation determination based on gradient magnitude and direction and histogram voting method.

The code was highly optimized for speed and memory usage against stringent requirements for decode speed and constraints on memory availability.
