The transcoding work was to convert high definition to standard definition video coming as MPEG2 TS. The video input is high bit rate for professional quality. The implementation of transcoding / transizing and transrating was done using proprietary algorithms. The Transcoder was optimized for Intel platform using MMX, SSE.
