  FMC Solutions - NCS 2

NCS 2 is a wireless convergence system based on 3GPP release 6
specification with supplementary services and full interoperability to UMTS, GSM, PSTN and WLAN based on UMA and compliant to 3GPP interoperability specification. Our FMC solution is based on 3GGP Rel 5 and Rel 6 specifications with other standards to support QOS, Media signaling and HSS. NCS2 is based on LINUX and can interoperate with differentiated networks to provide ubiquitous and seamless service. It can be a single system or a distributed subsystem based on the scalability and management needs. NCS2 has interface to application servers through OSA interface and ISC interface, which can provide the application server capability to non 3GPP networks like GSM, WLAN networks. NCS2 can connect to non 3GPP networks through native protocols and management entities

NCS-2 has the capability to hold multiple applications in its application container and makes the application utility visible to multiple networks. NCS2 UMTS R99, R4, R5 compliant and 3GPP Core Network Release 5 and Release 6 specifications compliant.

NCS-2 has the following elements
CSCF (proxy Interrogating and serving)
Policy engine (Go and Gq interface with PEP and PDF)
Media signaling interface (MRFC, MG)
Wireless access Switch (WAG, PDG and OCS interface for 802.xx systems)
OSA interface (OSA Parlay API container)
Interface to HLR, VLR (CAP and MAP interface) (Camel versions and MAP versions can be selected based on requirements)
BGCF interface
Signaling gateway interface
Home Subscriber subsystem
IM SSF and GSM SCF (CAP and MAP interface)
BGCF, MGCF, MRFC, SLF interface, ALG, STUN Gateway and
WAG, PDG with 3GPP AAA server and AAA proxy

We support the following reference points

NCS-2 Engine

NCS-2 supports various multimedia application services such as Push to talk, Voice messaging, active directory service, and send voice, video chat, and multimedia chat, IP mobile-TV.

NCS 2 also provides full access to Wireless lan-based network and for 802.xx based radio technologies. NCS2 can integrate 802.11a, 802.16 into UMTS network for session-based handover, device interchange, multi-radio device handover.

NCS2 can provide unified application access and interoperability between WLAN and UMTS – IMS network. It allows subscriber to roam/choose across WLAN and UMTS network for application and basic call services.

NCS2 come with WAG and PDG server with full support of PEP and PDF.

NCS-2 Wireless Lan interface

WAG and PDF with NCS 2 is fully complaint with 3GPP specification TS. 23.234. It is fully compliant with UMA based UNC specifications for seamless handover and radio control.

NCS2 Supports multiple network to provide ubiquitous application service and multimedia interoperability with Full SLA to QOS.
