AR-V2X is a product envisioned to mitigate the challenges caused by V2X field testing. Operating AR-V2X is fairly simple; it needs a car, a road and, a DSRC Modem. With a valid Tata Elxsi AR-V2X license, any road can be converted into a V2X Field Test Track. Tata Elxsi’s AR-V2X creates virtual infrastructure (RSUs) and virtual cars (OBUs) alongside the road for enabling V2X Testing. This product is a result of innovation and synthesis of Tata Elxsi’s capabilities in Automotive, Communication, and Visual Computing technologies.
Testing of V2X on the field is a cumbersome process; it involves renting of test tracks, deployment of roadside units and cars as a part of the V2X ecosystem.
