Tata Elxsi is one of India’s finest digital and design services companies. Three of its engineers talk about what got them to the top.

Bindu Narayan: General Manager, Corporate Quality
Bindu Narayan has been with Tata Elxsi for 26 years, rising from an SQA professional to the head of corporate quality function. She leads a team of more than 160 people across locations and played a pivotal role in helping the organisation achieve certifications such as CMM, ISO, and ASPICE. She has presented papers on software engineering, helped close major deals, and consulted for top clients across automotive, media and communications domains. “To succeed, one needs a clear vision, and realistic plans. To grow, one needs to continually upskill and learn from role models,” she says.

Maria Sangeetha: Centre Head, Transportation Business
Maria Sangeetha has over 21 years of experience in the tech industry, and currently serves as centre head and leads large teams of more than 300 professionals in the automotive business unit. She oversees the delivery and operations of key projects in domains such as ADAS, power train and EV. Maria began her career as a developer. She says problem-solving has always been her forte, and finds it fascinating to watch complex requirements turn into an intricate code that ultimately simplifies life. She has always enjoyed developing and debugging codes. “Continuous learning is non-negotiable,” she says.

Vandana G K: Delivery Manager, Media & Communications Business
Vandana G K has more than 16 years of experience in the industry. She manages key customer accounts and delivers products in niche and cutting-edge technology areas. She holds two patents. She enjoys working on innovative technology areas like home gateways and security solutions, Android TV, OTT, and other video technologies. Her mantra to succeed in both personal and professional lives is to be “nimble, and have the right attitude and perseverance to convert crises into opportunities.” She believes in having a balanced life, and follows that with her passionate pursuit of Bharatanatyam.
