Hardware Engineer
Tata Elxsi collaborates with premier OEMs and suppliers in the Automotive and Transportation industries to provide R&D, design, and product engineering services from concept to launch and beyond. We bring together technologies that expedite the development and testing of connected, autonomous, electrified, and off-highway vehicles.
Role - Hardware engineer
Location - Farmington Hills, MI 48331
Education - Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
Salary - $80000 to 90000
Experience - 8 + Years
Job Duties
- Requirement capture & technical discussions (5%)
- Digital & Analog circuit design using EDA tools (10%)
- Worst-case circuit analysis for the design (5%)
- Different functional safety assessments such as DFMEA, FTA & DFA (10%)
- Reliability & Thermal analysis (10%)
- Schematic Entry using EDA tools (10%)
- PCB design using CAD tools (10%)
- Collaborating - Engage in cross-functional discussions with mechanical, electrical, firmware, PCB layout, program management, and manufacturing. (5%)
- Review with the quality assurance (QA) team to improve the measurement of quality parameters (3%).
- Plan for reviewing and releasing Gerber files (4%)
- Board Bring up and functional testing (5%)
- EMI and EMC testing & certification (5%)
- Technical discussions & follow-ups with third-party chip vendors (2%)
- Technical discussion & follow-ups with Board manufacturers and assemblers (3%)
- Coordination with external vendors for the development of prototypes (5%)
