Network Automation Engineer
Key Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science or related Engineering discipline
- Relevant hands-on experience in network engineering with a focus on automation
Must-Have Skills:
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration and troubleshooting
- Strong networking fundamentals: protocols, architectures, and configuration
- Experience in automation with Ansible and Terraform
- Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Familiarity with Git and CI/CD pipeline integration
- Knowledge of infrastructure as code and RESTful APIs
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools
- Effective documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Skills:
- Cloud networking exposure (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- SDN, NetConf/YANG, or other automation protocols
- Agile development experience
- Awareness of network security best practices
- Certifications like CCNA/CCNP, RHCE, or relevant cloud credentials
Good to Have:
- Experience with network orchestration platforms
- Telecom/media industry network familiarity
