ADAS System Architect - Expert

SME for ADAS System engineering projects in the Transportation Business Unit. In this role, the ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the System engineers, Safety/Security Engineers, lead architects, functional leads, and other software developers. Work products will include requirements, architecture and traceability modelling. Engineer should have good knowledge/experience in embedded systems development and good experience in ADAS domain.

Tasks (What will the candidate do after he joins):

Mentor team to technically deliver following artefacts and if necessary execute up to 50% hands-on

• Stake holder requirements & System requirements
• Prepare SysML Architecture models
• Create System requirements from models
• Create traceability with requirements
• Derive design elements from requirements
• Collaborate remotely with global development groups (US, Asia, Europe)
• Perform multiple project reviews as SME for ADAS system architecture
• Participate in responding to RFQs with best technical solutions.
• Participate in demos, workshops, external events, and whitepapers

Profile (What the candidate should already be having):

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering field
• 12+ Years’ experience in relevant field
• 4+ years knowledge in ADAS domain is mandatory
• Embedded System development knowledge
• Knowledge in System level features
• Work experience in CAN protocol
• Experience using IBM DOORS or equivalent requirement management tool
• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)

Mandatory Skills :

• Ability to initiate and to continue tasks during periods of limited interaction
• Experience working in a widely distributed team
• Expertise in vehicle dynamics and overall automotive systems
• Exposure to Automotive SPICE and Functional Safety (ISO-26262)
• Practical knowledge of any SysML modelling tool and techniques
• Certifications s: CPRE-IREB , INCOSE ASEP/CSEP.
