Product Owner

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual for the position of Product Owner.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and analyze proposed technical solutions for projects
• Contribute to the formulation of strategies for development and other functional areas
• Ensure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standards for the Projects
• Technically guiding the team in development, code review and merges
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals
• Impact the development area through monitoring the delivery of end results, participate in budget planning, and handling day-to-day staff management issues, including resource management and allocation of work within the team or project.

Key Job Requirements:

• Relevant hands-on experience as Product product owner in networking projects is a must.

Skills and Competencies:

Must have:

• Strong Understanding of Networking Domains (Metro, Aggregation, Core)
• Strong understanding of L2/L3 protocols, MPLS VPN, etc. in a service provider environment
• Experience managing the product development process in network automation, process automation, and orchestration/automation projects would be an added advantage
• Experience working in an Agile environment and continuously reviews the business needs, refines priorities, outlines milestones and deliverables, and identifies opportunities and risks
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, deliver work to a high standard, and meet challenging deadlines.
• Gather feature requests, schedule releases, and coordinate sprints. Work closely with cross-functional teams, identify user needs, and ensure the product meets customer expectations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build strong relationships and be flexible to work on customer schedules
• Proven organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with people across the business
• Ability to work under pressure, a proactive, flexible approach to work, and being a good team player
