Program Managers with Large Program experience

We are seeking 10+ years of experienced Program Manager to lead and oversee large-scale programs in the Media, Broadcast, and OTT domain. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the media industry, strong project management skills, and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex initiatives.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Program Strategy and Planning:
- Develop a clear program strategy aligned with organizational goals.
- Create and maintain detailed program plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resources.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program success.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content creators, technical experts, marketing, and business stakeholders.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners.
- Resource Allocation and Management:
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure program success.
- Monitor resource utilization and adjust as needed.
- Risk Management:
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Proactively address issues to keep the program on track.
- Budget Oversight:
- Manage program budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Provide regular financial updates to the leadership.
- Quality Assurance:
- Establish and maintain quality standards for program deliverables.
- Oversee quality control processes to ensure high-quality content and services.
- Meet internal SQA standards for code quality and release criteria.
- Maintain a healthy project health index for every release.
- Timeline Management:
- Develop and manage detailed project timelines, milestones, and dependencies.
- Ensure timely delivery of program objectives.
- Communication:
- Establish clear communication channels and reporting mechanisms.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on program status and progress.
- Resolve conflicts and facilitate effective communication within the team.
- Vendor and Partner Management:
- Collaborate with external vendors and partners as required.
- Evaluate vendor performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting:
- Define and track KPIs to measure program performance.
- Prepare and deliver regular program reports to leadership.
Domain and Industry Knowledge:
- Conceptualize new solutions based on forecasting market trends and customer needs.
- Have meaningful conversations with key client stakeholders, interpret data, and enhance the quality of the proposed solution.
- Make useful recommendations based on existing gaps and recommend specific Tata Elxsi’s services/solutions. Recommend holistic solutions that lead to large, highly complex programs and act as differentiators in positioning Tata Elxsi with clients.
- Manage domain-related project management issues in multiple projects
- Create or validate a roadmap for customer strategy.
- Review to contextualize the solution to the industry
Technology Concepts:
- Create or review an optimal technology road map and select the right infrastructure and technology platforms. Identify scope for rationalization, optimization, or enhancement of capabilities.
- Identify technology skillsets and product capability to be built or acquired over the next 2 to 3 years based on industry trends and client directions.
- Define the business benefits of solution adoption for the client.
- Ensure the consistent reusability of tools and best practices across projects and influence product and technology selection strategies.
Profitability Management:
- Create a profitability sheet based on the resource plan.
- Catalyze a shift to output/outcome-based pricing.
- Present the analysis to senior management.
- Track and monitor the profitability of projects on an ongoing basis and manage margins effectively.
Pricing and licensing models:
- Create complex estimates, including third-party commercial inputs and large complex deals, and obtain approval from relevant stakeholders (leadership, legal, etc.).
- Propose innovative commercial models or carry out 'what if' analysis.
- Create integrated pricing models for large, complex transactions and manage large programs.
Engagement Management:
- Plan and manage engagements encompassing large and complex projects as defined within Tata Elxsi.
- Identify risks and mitigation strategies on an ongoing basis and implement the same for large/complex projects.
- Proactively anticipate the risks and identify avoidance and mitigation strategies for an ongoing process.
- Monitor complex integration and interdependence across workstreams within the span of the project.
- Coach teams on implementing best practices with measurable business value, adding quality processes in delivery risk management and mitigation, and good governance.
- Influence project strategy by proposing new or alternative solutions while being proactive in identifying issues and resolving them, balancing effectiveness and efficiency.
- Foresee and drive the creation of solution accelerators that would be of help in multiple customer engagements. Provide thought leadership to transform solution accelerators into nonlinear revenue streams.
Engagement Governance:
- Review project estimations and plans and guide project managers on implications around cost schedule timing and outcomes.
- Provide input on resource planning (pyramid people development) at a practice level and provide guidance at a project/engagement level as needed.
- Review benchmarks and stakeholder management communication plans. KM has transition plans. Critique plans and coach teams on managing project and engagement risks and planning appropriately.
- Handle any escalated needs/priorities/issues.
- Engage with teams on lessons learned; embedding back into delivery sharing with peers and delivery excellence teams. Promote continuous learning.
Solution Development Support:
- Review RFPs/RFIs/RFQs to understand the scope of the request and guide teams to respond.
- Work with the solution team to develop a strong proposal addressing the requirements. Guide the response team on response sections, including delivery and solution. Write executive summaries for solution responses clearly articulating value propositions and differentiators.
- Manage deals and work with internal teams as needed to develop competitive proposals both from a solution and commercial perspective. Review and validate solutions in proposals and architect solutions for large/transformational deals.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Customer satisfaction should be above 4.5.
- Large programs worth 2-5 million dollars should be manageable.

- Effective risk management without impacting program or launch delivery timelines
- Ontime Completion and Delivery Percentage
- Quality Metrix and Project Health Index to be maintained as green (>90%)
