SME On Operator Industry (Telco/Wireless)

We are seeking a Telco Network SME with 10+ years of experience who can contribute to the success & advancement of our projects through their leadership & expertise.

Role and Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for Telco infrastructure and network systems.
• Provide E2E Technical solutions bridging IP networking, Cloud/SDN infrastructure & Telco applications (VNFs and CNFs).
• Work with Project or Program managers, Network Architects to drive technical solution scope and fragment into deliverable activities.
• Run an upfront engagement with many stakeholders across Technology Groups & provide a detailed network solution / proposal.
• Develop and maintain documentation for cloud network design, configuration, and procedures.
• Oversee the migration of traditional telecom functions to cloud platforms.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Bachelor/Master of Engineering, MCA with overall experience 10+ years in Telco Networks
• 5-7-year experience with IP Networking, Data communication & Wireless technologies in the MSO ecosystem
• At least 4 years hands-on experience working with TIER 1 MSPs
• Has telco industry background experience and knowledge of OSS & BSS processes like network planning, architecture, network operations, and deployments for B2B and B2C segments.
• Has acquired industry-standard certifications

Must Have:

• Technical skills:
  • Good understanding of Telco Networks - Metro, Transport, Core and Data Centre, including switches / routers, firewalls, VPNs, Wi-Fi, routing protocols, monitoring and reporting applications, etc.
  • Experience in E2E delivery from the requirements of a solution to a production-ready and complete end-to-end IP networking architecture
  • Experience in emerging technology areas. This includes Virtualization, VMWare, Kubernetes, OpenStack, VNF, and container solutions.
  • Proven stakeholder engagement and reporting skills and strong technical leadership and articulation skills
  • Industry standard-certified CCNA/CCIE/JNCIE level or equivalent proven experience
  • Familiarity with 5G and its integration into cloud platforms
  • Change Management: Experience with change management processes and tools to track and manage infrastructure and application changes.

• Technical leadership:
  • Project estimation includes effort estimation and infra estimations
  • Experience in leading multiple teams in deploying different network service delivery platforms and managing them.

Certification: CCNA/CCIE/JNCIE level or equivalent proven experience
