Solution Architect – Java and UI
Tata Elxsi works with leading OEMs and suppliers in the automotive & transportation industries for R&D, Design and Product Engineering Services, right from architecture to launch and beyond. We bring together technologies that accelerate development & testing of connected, autonomous and electric cars & off-highway vehicles.
We are looking for bright and passionate Java – UI Architect who are familiar with automotive development in the areas listed below:
Base Skills:
- Proficiency in Core Java programming
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design.

- Proven experience as a UI and Java Architect or similar role, with a strong portfolio of successful projects.
- Experience in Core Java programming
- Solid understanding of UI/UX design principles and experience with design tools (e.g., Sketch, Figma)
- Strong knowledge of software architecture and design patterns.
- Experience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design.
Desired Skills:
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues.
- Effective communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Job Description:
- Lead the design and development of user interfaces for web and mobile applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and product managers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Create and review technical design documents, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines.
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java code, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, promoting code quality and architectural excellence.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in UI design, Java, and software architecture.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth and efficient application development and deployment.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, consistency, and security.
