Key Responsibilities:

• Customize and enhance Android platform components (AOSP)
• Develop and optimize STB-specific modules
  
  • Android HAL: Graphics, Audio, Tuner, DRM, Connectivity
  • Middleware: Playback, CAS/DRM, DVB / ATSC / ISDB layers
  • System services: Remote control, UI/UX, performance tuning
• Handle Android rebasing for security patches and version upgrades
• Support Android certifications such as GCT, Netflix, and Amazon
• Debug complex system-level issues across framework, HAL, and kernel
• Use tools like Android Studio, ADB, Systrace, Perfetto, Logcat, Wireshark, GDB

Qualifications:

• 4–10 years of hands-on Android development experience
• Strong understanding of software design and agile practices
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable working independently and within cross-functional teams
• Clear and effective communication skills
