We are looking for an experienced individual to fill various roles in Design, Development, Automation and Deployment. The engineer will be assigned responsibility for Transmission related components of Electric Drive Unit. For that components / that sub-system they will be responsible for the following where applicable:

Responsibilities:

• To manage product development processes and deliver according to component creation and delivery system (CCDS) on engine systems and components.
• Ownership of core Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA), including related documents (e.g., boundary and interface analysis).
• Sourcing, verification, release, delivery and launch plans in place and reported weekly.
• To lead and coordinate cross functional CCDS team including purchasing, design, validation, STA, supplier and manufacturing to ensure all APQP deliverables are fulfilled with agreed status by the CCDS team.
• Delivery to the program gateways by achieving quality, cost, timing, function and weight requirements.  
• Engineering design and release metrics on time to required quality level.
• Evidenced Based Engineering Reports (EBER) / Design Integrity report delivered on time with high quality input across all programme gateways.
• Root cause analysis and resolution of issues during development/ launch / in production using 8D I Six Sigma Methodology.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Good technical understanding of Electrical Harness design and operating principles.
• Experience of managing resolution of business, technical and process issues within a Project Team environment, including with suppliers.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong influencing, presentation and reporting skills to support supplier and management reviews.
