We are seeking dynamic individuals to fill various roles in our Design Engineers team.  The Design Engineer responsible for leading the Design, Packaging and Integration of Chassis systems and its aggregate components, will work along a team of high-performance design engineers and will be responsible for the Concept creation, Design, Integration, Release and Quality of the Chassis systems and its aggregate components. 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

• Concept 3D CAD geometry creation, updates, validation & quality check. 
• Engineering 2D Drawing creation and updates for prototype and production releases. 
• Conduct package studies to achieve static and dynamic clearance targets with the Chassis System components and its surrounding system components using DMU. 
• Develop work plans and lead resolution of design and packaging related issues. 
• Work with manufacturing engineering to ensure that component/System design meets the manufacturing, assembly and serviceability requirements. 
• BOM creation and maintenance for all assemblies and subassemblies. 
• Complete engineering change tracking documents and CAD releases to allow design changes to be approved by the organisation. 
• Present Concept/Design status and support Design reviews, virtual build events and programme module team meetings. 
• Achieve programme deadlines as defined by programme gateway deliverables. 
• Support the Lead Designer with Design Integrity reports and evidence for engineering sign off documentation for tooling and Component releases. 
• Acquire and evaluate industry, competitor and emerging technologies appropriate for the commodity and compatibility with design targets. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering  
• Strong communication and coordination skills to work effectively with cross functional and customer teams.
