Key Responsibilities:

• Define and implement microservices architecture for IoT data ingestion, processing, and application delivery.
• Design event-driven systems using Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or similar streaming technologies.
• Architect RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless middleware, cloud, and application communication.
• Build responsive front-end applications using React or Angular for vehicle data visualization and monitoring.
• Develop scalable back-end services using Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), or Python (FastAPI).
• Design and implement data persistence layers using PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
• Interface with vehicle middleware technologies such as CAN Bus and MQTT to support telemetry and ignition event processing.
• Integrate cloud services including AWS IoT Core, Lambda, S3, and DynamoDB for real-time data processing and storage.
• Ensure seamless connectivity across vehicle, cloud, and application layers.
• Optimize end-to-end latency to achieve less than one second from ignition event to application update.
• Implement secure communication and authentication mechanisms using TLS 1.3, OAuth2, and JWT.
• Ensure compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards, including ISO 21434.
• Mentor and guide engineering teams on architecture, design, and development best practices.
• Enforce CI/CD processes and ensure adequate unit, integration, and system test coverage.
• Collaborate with Product, QA, DevOps, and stakeholder teams to support release planning and execution.

Required Technical Skills:

• Front-End: React / Angular, TypeScript, Redux, WebSockets. 
• Back-End: Node.js, Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI), REST, GraphQL. 
• IoT & Middleware: MQTT, AMQP, CAN bus, ISO 14229 (UDS), telematics protocols. 
• Cloud & DevOps: AWS IoT Core, Lambda, API Gateway, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform. 
• Data Streaming: Kafka, AWS Kinesis, or Azure Event Hub. 
• Database: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB. 
• Security: TLS, OAuth2, JWT, Automotive Cybersecurity standards. 
• Testing: Jest, Mocha, Cypress, Postma

Preferred Experience:

• Connected Vehicle IoT platforms and telematics solutions.
• OTA (Over-the-Air) update systems.
• Edge computing and real-time analytics platforms.
• Automotive standards including AUTOSAR, ISO 26262, and ISO 21434.
