Job Description:

• Lead the setup, commissioning, and bring-up of new dSPACE HIL benches, including hardware integration, model deployment, I/O configuration, and real-time application implementation.
• Maintain and support existing dSPACE HIL rigs to ensure high system availability and readiness for validation activities.
• Configure and validate bus communication and restbus simulation for CAN/LIN/CAN FD/Ethernet-based HIL environments using dSPACE bus tools .
• Troubleshoot hardware, model, I/O, and communication issues during regular operation, and coordinate upgrades, modifications, and continuous improvements to the HIL infrastructure.

Skill set needed:

• Strong hands-on expertise in dSPACE SCALEXIO-based HIL systems, including bench configuration, hardware expansion, and commissioning of new HIL setups.
• Deep working knowledge of ConfigurationDesk , ControlDesk and automation desk.
• Strong understanding of HIL system architecture, including rig wiring, signal conditioning concepts, external hardware integration, simulator/ECU interfacing, and failure simulation concepts. 
• Experience with automotive communication and restbus simulation, especially CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and configuration of communication matrices / bus behavior using dSPACE bus tools.
• Familiarity with integration of generated code or model artifacts into dSPACE HIL applications. 
• Strong debugging capability across bench hardware, model behavior, bus communication, and tool-chain integration issues.
• Ability to lead bench commissioning, maintenance planning, technical reviews, and stakeholder coordination for multiple HIL rigs or test programs.
