Product Sales Manager – SaaS Products (Automotive Domain)

Tata Elxsi works with leading OEMs and suppliers in the automotive & transportation industries for R&D, Design and Product Engineering Services, right from architecture to launch and beyond. We bring together technologies that accelerate development & testing of connected autonomous and electric cars & off-highway vehicles.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Sales Manager to drive the sales of our SaaS products in the automotive domain, with a primary focus on our Digital Product Passport solution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise software sales, a deep understanding of the automotive industry, and a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive growth and market adoption of our Digital Product Passport solution.
  • Identify new business opportunities, build a robust sales pipeline, and establish strong relationships with automotive OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and industry stakeholders.
  • Lead client interactions, present product solutions, conduct product demonstrations, and negotiate contracts.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive landscapes to refine sales strategies.
  • Work closely with product management, marketing, and technical teams to align sales strategies with product capabilities and market needs.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to revenue growth objectives.
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding process for clients and maintain long-term relationships to drive renewals and upsell opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 12-15 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling SaaS products to the automotive industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and managing large enterprise accounts.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required.

  • 12-15 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on selling SaaS products in the automotive industry.
  • Strong understanding of automotive industry dynamics, including OEMs, Tier 1 & Tier 2 suppliers, regulatory requirements, and emerging technology trends.
  • Proven experience in building and executing sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts.
  • Demonstrated success in managing enterprise sales cycles, including lead generation, prospecting, client presentations, and contract negotiations.
  • Experience in managing long-term client relationships, driving renewals, and identifying upsell opportunities.
  • Proven ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, and engineering.
