Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain embedded software using C on Linux-based platforms
• Develop and customize Yocto-based Linux distributions for STB/IPTV devices
• Work with RDK-V and GStreamer for multimedia streaming solutions
• Develop and debug Linux device drivers and kernel modules
• Collaborate with Middleware, QA, and Triage teams to resolve complex system issues
• Ensure software quality through code reviews and best engineering practices

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in C programming and Linux system programming
• Experience with Yocto Project (BitBake, recipes, layers)
• Hands-on experience in STB/IPTV platforms and multimedia systems
• Strong knowledge of video domain technologies
• Experience in Linux device driver development (I2C, SPI, GPIO, USB, display, audio)
• Familiarity with kernel debugging tools such as gdb, ftrace, perf, and printk
• Experience with RDK-V / RDK-E architecture is an added advantage
• Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills
