We are looking for an experienced and strategic Cybersecurity Lead with deep expertise in Telecommunications (Telco) Security to strengthen our security posture across critical Telco infrastructure and services. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in 5G/4G network security, telecom systems, and regulatory compliance, along with proven leadership in managing cross-functional cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and govern cybersecurity controls for telecom infrastructure including mobile networks (4G/5G), fixed-line, core, and edge systems.
• Work with emerging paradigms such as Software Defined Networking (SDN), Network Function
• Virtualization (NFV), and cloud-based telecom services.
• Develop and maintain the Telco-specific cybersecurity strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals and global standards (NIST, ISO 27011, GSMA, ENISA).
• Configure and manage firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and encryption technologies to protect telecom data.
• Conduct risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability management for telecom systems.
• Use data analytics tools for network monitoring and anomaly detection to strengthen network defense.
• Implement cloud security measures for telecom modernization (AWS, Azure, hybrid environments).
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure deployment of NFV, SDN, MEC, and 5G slicing.
• Lead incident response for telecom-related threats (SS7/SIGTRAN, SIM swap, DDoS, etc.).
• Ensure regulatory compliance with GDPR, local data privacy laws, and telecom mandates.
• Manage and mentor a cybersecurity team; collaborate with vendors, regulators, and government agencies.
• Stay updated on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies in the telecom sector.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
• 8–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, with 4–6 years focused on telecom security.
• Strong understanding of telecom architectures, protocols (SS7, Diameter, SIP, GTP), and associated threats.
• Experience with telecom vendors (Ericsson, Nokia, Huawei, Cisco) and security solutions (firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection).
• Knowledge of 5G core, edge computing, and cloud-native telecom architectures.
• Expertise in security testing, adversary simulation, and risk evaluation.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 27011, NIS Directive, GSMA NESAS, and other telecom regulations.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, CEH, GIAC, or GSMA Security preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in security automation (SOAR) and Zero Trust architectures.
• Familiarity with AI/ML-based telecom threat detection.
• Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to handle high-pressure security incidents with analytical thinking.
