We are looking for an experienced Video Developer with strong expertise in C/C++ and Android TV development to design, develop, and integrate software components for Android TV (AOSP) and Linux-based STB platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and integrate software components for Android TV (AOSP) and Linux-based STB platforms.
• Implement and enhance system services, drivers, and multimedia frameworks.
• Work closely with hardware teams for board bring-up, device driver integration, and system debugging.
• Customize and optimize Android systems for specific SoC platforms such as Amlogic, Broadcom, MediaTek, and Realtek.
• Support development across Kernel, HAL, Framework, Middleware, and Application layers.

Primary Skills (Required):

• Strong understanding of C/C++ programming.
• Experience with AOSP porting and migration.
• Knowledge of HIDL and native service development.
• Experience in vendor/system service development.
• Hands-on experience in Android framework and system customization.
• Experience with SoC SDKs and HAL integration/customization.
• Knowledge of AOSP multimedia framework, MediaCodec, and AV pipeline.
• Hands-on experience with Android debugging tools such as Android Profiler, Perfetto, ftrace, and Heapprofd.

Additional Skills (Good to Have):

• Experience with Broadcom or Amlogic SoC platforms.
• Knowledge of analysing bugreports, tombstone, and ANR data.
• Experience in Android STB domain.
• Debugging CTS/VTS issues.
• Experience developing privileged apps or vendor services.
• Understanding of Android security, SELinux, and DRM components.
